Whitehill & Bordon FC delivered a dominant performance away from home on Saturday afternoon, powering to a 1-6 victory over Paulsgrove in the Hampshire Premier League. A clinical attacking display, highlighted by a brace from Henry Smith and two goals from Shayne Warren, saw the Stags secure another important three points.
First Half
The Stags started strongly and wasted no time taking control of the match. Henry Smith opened the scoring, setting the tone for the afternoon. He soon doubled the lead with his second of the game, showing great composure in front of goal to make it 0-2 heading into the break.
It was a composed and disciplined first half from Whitehill & Bordon, who dictated the tempo and looked dangerous with every forward move.
Second Half
Paulsgrove came out with renewed energy and managed to pull one back early in the second half to make it 1-2, but the Stags responded in emphatic fashion.
Shayne restored the two-goal cushion with a fine finish, before Ciaran Judd added a fourth to stretch the lead to 1-4. There was no let-up from Whitehill & Bordon, as Ellis Ballard got on the scoresheet to make it five, and Shayne rounded off the scoring with his second of the afternoon to seal a commanding 6-1 win.
